Walkthrough on the easiest way to complete this form when creating a merchant account with Paya

PCI compliance is adherence to the set of policies and procedures developed to protect credit, debit and cash card transactions and prevent the misuse of cardholders' personal information. All card brands require compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

When you create a merchant account with Paya to process credit card and ACH payments directly in Pool Brain, you'll be asked to complete a PCI compliance form.

Below are the steps you should take to complete the form properly:


Step 1 -

Click "Get Started"


Step 2 -

Enter Merchant Information

This is your company contact info

Step 3 -

Complete Merchant Business Information

  • Select e-Commerce.

  • Processing Environment: Website integrated with validated payment gateway.

  • Description: We have a website that integrates with a PCI DSS validated payment gateway for thereceipt and processing of cardholder data. No cardholder data enters our web infrastructure.

Click Save


Step 4 -

Answer yes/no questions

  • Service Provider: Paya

  • Description: Gateway

Click Save

Step 5 -

Processing Solution and Moto/E-commerce

  • Enter "Pool Brain" for your PRODUCT CODE

  • Select MOTO/E-commerce

  • Answer yes/no questions shown below

  • Check box to acknowledge end user license agreement

Click Save & Continue

Step 6 -

Check box to acknowledge truth of statements

Click Continue

Step 7 -

Indicate if you have multiple locations by answering no/yes

  • If yes, include required information

  • If no, move to next step (most common)

Step 8 -

Questionnaire A “Pass” message displays

Click Continue

Step 9 -

Review and Sign

Scroll down to bottom of page to enter Executive Officer Name, Title and last 4 of Tax ID or Social
