Stripe may provide certain tax documents to businesses based on applicable federal and state reporting requirements. These documents are available to download directly in Pool Brain.

Navigate to Reports --> View Stripe Reports, then select the Tax Documents tab.

If a Form 1099-K is available for your account, you can download it from Pool Brain. Whether one is available depends on your total payment volume and applicable federal and state reporting requirements, which can change and vary by state.

The amount on a 1099-K is your gross payment volume, not your net deposits. It doesn't subtract processing fees, refunds, or disputes, so it won't match the amount that actually landed in your bank account.

Not every business will receive a 1099-K. Pool Brain can't provide tax advice; consult your accountant or tax advisor if you have questions about your filing requirements or whether you should expect one.
