Group emails can be used to send an email on demand to many of your Customers at the same time. You can easily target specific groups of customers by using the filter options to narrow down the audience.
To send a Group Email:
Go to the Email Center by clicking "Email Center" in the left side menu
Filter your email list using one of the available options at the top of the screen:
Equipment Type - Customers that have the selected equipment type for any body of water on any property they own. For example, you could target only customers that have sand filters or customers that don't have a cleaning system to send them promotional offers on equipment upgrades.
Customer Status - Lead, Active (Routed), Active (No Route), Inactive
City
Zip Code
Tags - Customers with selected Tag(s) attached to their profile
Invoice Status - Paid, Awaiting Payment, Past Due
Route - Customers with properties currently scheduled on selected route(s)
Choose "Any" or "All" in the SELECTIONS MADE section to further filter your results
Any - Displays Customers matching ANY of the selected search filters
All - Displays only Customers that match ALL of the selected search filters
Choose the Contact Type to decide which emails are included in the list
Both - includes email addresses for both primary and billing contacts
Primary - only includes email address for the Primary Contact
Billing - only includes email address for the Billing Contact
Click "COMPOSE EMAIL" button to create the email content
Send using an Email Template
Choose an existing email template from the "Template" drop down menu. The email content will update instantly to show the saved template content.
Review the email content for both subject line and body and make any edits if desired
Click "SEND EMAIL" button to send the email to all of the customers in the previously filtered group email list
Send by Composing a New Email From Scratch
Enter text in the Subject field
Edit content in the Body of the email
OPTIONAL: Click "SAVE AS NEW TEMPLATE" button if you'd like to use this content in the future as an email template
Click "SEND EMAIL" button to send the email to all of the customers in the previously filtered group email list
Send Preview (optional)
If you'd like to see a preview of your email before sending it to the email group, click the blue "Send Preview" text in the bottom right corner and enter your email address when prompted
You'll be emailed a preview you can review to see what your customers will see when they receive the email. Please note that any dynamic content will be shown as default data which is not what your customer will see but it will give you a good example of how the dynamic content works as it's different for every customer.

Dynamic Content
Dynamic Content Markers can be used for information that changes automatically based on certain variables such as contact name and company info.
To add Dynamic Content to your email:
Click to place the blinking cursor where you'd like the Dynamic Content to go
Click the "Dynamic Content" dropdown menu and select the dynamic content tag you'd like to use. Note that there are different "Dynamic Content" drop down menus for the Subject line and the email Body and each has different options.
