Your inventory is extremely important to keep track of. Know where a tool or product is, how many you have, how much you paid, when you received it, and more.

Create locations and sub-locations to manage inventory anywhere you want. To manage your inventory on trucks, you'll need to Create and Edit Trucks instead of locations.

Create an Inventory Location

  • Click "Inventory" from the left side menu

  • Click "Add Location"

  • Enter a name for the Location (examples: Warehouse, Storage Yard, Hall Closet)

  • Click "Save" button to create the location

Create a Sub-Location

You can add Sub-Locations beneath other locations to further categorize where items are stored. For example, "Warehouse--> Aisle 3--> Bin 2" where Warehouse is the parent location and then Aisle 3 is a sub-location of Warehouse and Bin 2 is a sub-location of Aisle 3.

You can have up to 4 sub-locations for every parent location.

  • Click "Inventory" from the left side menu

  • Click "Add Location"

  • Enter a name for the sub-location (each location name must be unique)

  • Click "Make this a sub-location"

  • Choose the Parent Location to assign the new sub-location to. (for example, you could create a sub-location named "Aisle 6" and assign it to a parent location named "Warehouse")

  • Click "Save" button to create the sub-location

Edit an Inventory Location

  • Click "Inventory" from the left side menu

  • Click the Location you want to edit

  • Click the blue edit pencil icon next to the location name

  • Edit the Name, Parent Location, or photos

  • Changes save automatically as you make them

Delete an Inventory Location

To delete an inventory location, you will need to first move all inventory items out of that location.

  • Click "Inventory" from the left side menu

  • Click the Location you want to delete

  • Click the blue edit pencil icon next to the location name

  • Click "Delete" button

  • Click Delete to confirm in the window that appears
