Create New Workflow Items (drop down, yes/no, questions)

Sometimes a checklist item isn't the right tool for the job. You can now create more complex and specific workflows by using custom drop down menus, yes/no toggles and open question fields in addition to checklist items. For example, you can now create inspection job templates or warranty call templates that gather correct data in the correct ways with the correct requirements on each item.

  • Create "drop down menu" workflow items
(click "Add Item +", edit menu title, edit menu options and set requirements)

  • Create "yes/no" workflow items
(click "Add Item +", enter your question and the technician can choose "yes" or "no" as a response in the app)

  • Create "Question" workflow items
(click "Add Item +", enter your question and the technician can type any response they want in the app)

  • ALL new items can be set as completion required, photo required, custom frequency and/or auto-deletion options the same way checklist items can

  • Technician can easily complete the new workflow items in app as required

  • Job Activity section on Jobs/Route Stops now shows technician responses for the new workflow items

  • Photo gallery on Jobs/Route Stops now shows technician responses for the new workflow items

  • Labels that previously said "Checklist Items" may now say "Work Items" or "Items" in various places

Address Verification Info Updates

  • Billing street address and zip code are now required fields when processing any credit card payment in Pool Brain. This applies to your office staff and customers.

  • When creating a new saved payment method, billing street address and zip code are now required fields and will be stored for the payment method.

  • Billing address and zip code can now be edited for any existing payment method. If this is set incorrectly, it can affect the transaction processing successfully. (existing saved payment methods have had the customer billing address added but this can be changed as needed)

API Improvements

  • When using GET to retrieve info on Quotes, the system will now also return each individual line item contained within a Bundle. Previously, the system was sending just the Bundle summary info.

Other Improvements

  • Trigger values for "pH High" alert have been updated to allow a wide range of more granular options

  • The Route Day Change "auto-notify" queue now has an option to "remove all" with one click

  • Checklist items in the technician app have had their UI updated
(completion required/photo required icons stack vertically to allow more space, items are solid before completion and grayed out once completed, added green checkmark box when completed)

  • Route Stop & Job pages on web dashboard have had their UI updated (Readings and Chemicals Added sections now display below the job activity, photo gallery, and tech/customer notes sections)
