When an email you send hard bounces, is rejected by server, or gets marked as spam/junk/phishing by the recipient, it's automatically added to a suppression which blocks all further email attempts from Pool Brain. You can view this list and remove email addresses from it if needed.

View the Email Suppression List

You can view all emails that have been added to the suppression list and see when they were added and why.

  • Go to the Email Center

  • Click on the "Suppression List" tab at the top of the page

  • Results will display based on the date range selected in the top right corner

  • Filter your results

    • Search Bar - enter a specific email address to search

    • "Filter by reason" drop down menu - (bounced or customer complaint)

    • Date Range - make sure the date range selected is correct

Remove an Email from the Suppression List

You can remove any email(s) from this list individually or in bulk.

  • Use the checkboxes on the right side of the list to select the email(s) you wish to remove or click the "Check All" box to select the entire list

  • Click "Remove Selected" button to remove the emails from the suppression list

Emails get added to the suppression list for valid reasons so removing them should be done with care. If your emails continue to get marked as spam or bounce, it will damage your sender reputation and make it more difficult to bypass spam filters for other customers you want to email. Typically, this is only done if you've already spoken to the customer and they accidentally marked you as spam the first time or have stated they have resolved the issue causing the email to hard bounce.
