How to create a new route

  • To create a new route, click the button at the top of the scheduling page that says "NEW ROUTE"

  • In the window that appears...

    - Select a day of the week
(this will always be the assigned day for this route)

    - Name the route
Tip: do not put a technician name as the route name because it will appear after you assign a technician to the route.

    - Select a color
(this will be the color the map markers and route name shows up as in scheduling. It should be a different color than all other routes on the same day.)
Tip: To match route colors exactly and quickly, you can copy and paste the color code you see above the color selector

    - Click "Save" button to create the route

You will see the new route in the scheduling pane on the left hand side of the page. If you don't see the route, make sure the date selector in the top left is on a date with the same DAY as the route you just created.

How to assign a technician to a route

  • Click the icon on the left side of any route card. Click on the technician you'd like to assign to the route in the window that appears.

You can do the same process to remove or switch the technician at any time.

How to add properties to a route

  • Click the "Unscheduled" section in the top right corner of the page to expand it

  • Select the checkbox next to any route stops you want to move to a route

  • Change the date selector at the top of the window that appears to navigate to the correct route and date. Click the route name to move the property to that route.

IMPORTANT: When moving route stops from Unscheduled section to a route, the date matters. The date showing at the top of the move window will be the START DATE for that property. The property will not appear on the route until this date. You can move a property back to unscheduled and then back to a route to reset the start date any time if needed.

  • You can also drag and drop any property from the Unscheduled section to any route on the left hand side of the page.

Click and drag using the drag handles on the left side of any route stop or job as shown here:
