Some companies need to setup and assign different tax rates for different properties in different areas. Here's how to do it:
STEP 1 - Create the Tax Rates you need in Settings
Go to Settings ---> Billing Defaults section ---> Click "Add +" next to Tax Rates

STEP 2 - Assign the appropriate Tax Rate to any Property
Go to the Customer page ---> Click Locations tab ---> Hover over address and click Edit pencil icon ---> Assign Tax Rate and click Save
Any Quote, Job or Invoice created for that property will now have the new Tax Rate assigned by default.
