For properties and contacts, you can set one to be primary, billing or both. Some things happen in Pool Brain automatically based on which is selected.
How to set a property or contact as primary or billing
If only one property/contact exists for a customer, it is set as both primary and billing by default
If more than one property/contact exists, hover over the property/contact you want to set as primary and/or billing. You will see "set primary" and "set billing" options appear. Click either option to change the setting as shown below.
What happens when a PROPERTY is set as "Primary"
Address and info for that location will display by default when navigating to Customer page (other properties can always be accessed from direct search or by clicking on them from locations tab)
What happens when a PROPERTY is set as "Billing"
Address is synced to QBO (if QBO is connected) in the billing address field
Address appears as the billing address on all quotes and invoices you create in Pool Brain (service address is always listed as well)
What happens when a CONTACT is set as "Primary"
Primary contact name and other info will display by default when navigating to Customer page
Primary contact name and phone number will display in technician app (if technician has permission turned on to view customer phone number)
Primary contact phone number and email are displayed in search list on Customers page (accessed by clicking "Customers" from left side menu)
What happens when a CONTACT is set as "Billing"
Billing contact name, email and phone number is synced to QBO (if QBO is connected) in the corresponding fields
Billing contact email is filled in by default when sending quotes and invoices in Pool Brain
