Send chemistry readings from Spin Touch to Pool Brain in one tap and know if technicians change anything

LaMotte Spin Touch integration allows you to send chemistry readings from the Spintouch to Pool Brain in one tap and know if technicians change anything. Eliminate manual entry and ensure that readings entered are the actual readings.

Wirelessly Send Spin Touch Readings to Pool Brain app

  • On the Chemical Readings screen in the Pool Brain app, a "Spin Touch" logo displays in the top right corner that shows the current connection status to the Spin Touch device

  • To connect any Spin Touch device, simply tap the Spin Touch icon and then tap "Connect" button (you only have to do this once to activate connection and it will be remembered on all jobs/route stops going forward)

    To connect any Spin Touch device, simply tap the icon and then tap "Connect" button


  • A "Send Results" icon will become available on Spin Touch Test Results screen when connected (connection happens automatically if Spin Touch is on and Pool Brain app is open)

  • After completing a chemistry test on the Spin Touch device, tap the "Send Results" icon on the Spin Touch to instantly send the readings into the proper fields in Pool Brain app (it looks like a paper airplane icon)

  • Readings entered from Spin Touch display in purple. If the Technician edits a Spin Touch reading, it displays as orange.

    If Technician edits a Spin Touch reading, it displays as orange.



View color coded readings & edit history on web

  • On Job/Route Stop records in web dashboard, readings are color coded so you can see at a glance whether the tech entered the reading manually, received it from Spin Touch, received it from Spin Touch and then edited it to something different, or edited to something different by office staff

    - Manually entered = BLUE
    - ​Spin Touch entered = PURPLE
    - ​Spin Touch edited = ORANGE
    - ​Web user edited = RED

    On Job/Route Stop records, readings are color coded based on editing activity



  • Hover over the readings to view a full history of how they were entered in app and if they were edited (by who and when)
