Pool companies can now connect Pentair IntelliFlo3® pumps directly to Pool Brain. Data from the pump is automatically sent to Pool Brain each day, saved to the associated body of water, and integrated with existing Pool Brain workflows, graphs, alerts, and more.
Water flow issues are a leading cause of algae growth in pools. Pentair’s IntelliFlo3® pump provides data on water movement such as gallons moved per day, GPM, RPM, PSI, priming issues & more. With this data and Pool Brain’s proactive alerts system, pool service companies can now be alerted automatically when water turnover is insufficient to prevent algae growth, and act quickly before the customer is aware of any problem.

Connect a Pentair IntelliFlo3® Pump to Pool Brain
Just scan and walk away.
From the pump equipment section on any job or route stop, technicians can tap "Connect" to enable a QR code scanner.
Scanning the QR code on the side of a Pentair IntelliFlo3® pump drive will immediately connect the pump to Pool Brain for the appropriate body of water.
Office staff can connect pumps from the equipment bar in the web dashboard if they know the pump ID.
Pump Data Flows Into Pool Brain Automatically
Data flows in automatically and alerts trigger based on your settings.
Pool Brain automatically receives the following data from the connected IntelliFlo3® pump each day:
Gallons Moved
GPM
RPM
PSI
Wi-Fi connection status
Pump alarms and errors
Pump data is stored in an event log you can view on demand (APP & WEB) for alarms and water movement.
Quickly view accurate historical context for water flow and pump issues without stepping foot on property. Access event log from the equipment bar.
PSI data displays on Pool Brain's existing graphs alongside readings entered by technicians so you see the whole picture at a glance.
Remotely received data displays as hollow circles and can be filtered out with a click.
Alerts trigger from data received based on your custom settings.
Pentair specific alert filters have been added to the Alerts page.
Always Know Pump Connection Status
The connection status of each pump displays at a glance in the Pool Brain equipment bar.
Connection status icon indicates if:
Pump is not connected
Wi-Fi signal is normal
Wi-Fi signal is weak
Wi-Fi is offline / pump is unreachable
Wi-Fi status alerts are also configurable if you'd like to be notified proactively on signal status change.
