Updated this week

Our Heritage Pool Supply integration ensures your product costs in Pool Brain are auto-updated (every night) if your cost with Heritage Pool Supply changes. Product price will also auto-update based on the markup % you've set in Pool Brain.

This means you're always charging the correct amount for the profit margin you want without any manual auditing or data entry whatsoever.

Getting Started

  • Request an API key from Heritage at customersupport@heritagepoolplus.com

  • In the "Supplier Integrations" section in Settings, enter your Heritage Account ID and API key (obtained from Heritage). Click the "CONNECT" button to activate the integration.

  • Once the integration is activated, you'll see a drop down menu to select a default branch. The branch you select will be what is used to pull your pricing on products. Prices can vary from branch to branch in some cases so we recommend choosing the branch you buy from the most.

PLEASE NOTE: A default branch selection is required. If this is not selected, the integration will not work.

Add A Heritage Item Number To Your Products To Sync Cost

  • After the Heritage integration is active, a new "Heritage Number" field will display for all products in Pool Brain. Enter the unique Heritage Item Number for the product you want to sync your cost with.

You can find the Heritage Number by going to the Heritage Pool Plus Website and searching for the product you want to sync costs with in the top search bar. Once you find the correct product, copy and paste the "Item Number" into the Heritage Number field for the matching product in Pool Brain. You only need to do this once and it's required in order to sync cost changes.

  • When a valid Heritage Item Number has been entered for a product, the "Unit" field will display the default unit Heritage has set for that product. You can change this unit selection if other unit options exist for the product and the cost sync will be based on the unit. For example, the cost of a CASE (CS) would be more than the cost of a single unit represented by EACH (EA).

  • Every night, Pool Brain will check to see if your price has changed with Heritage for any products that have a matching Heritage number entered. If so, Pool Brain will auto-update the product cost to match your new Heritage cost. If you have a markup % set for the product, the price will also auto-update based on the percentage you've set.

You'll never need to manually audit costs or update prices again 😎
