Learn how to configure your quote settings in Pool Brain.

Quote settings control how your team manages quotes, what notifications are sent when a customer approves or denies a quote, and what default notes appear on every new quote.


How to Access Quote Settings

Office Staff - Web Dashboard

Navigate to "Settings" --> "Quotes"

Technicians - App

Quote settings cannot be configured in the mobile app.


Require Notes When Changing Status

When turned on, office staff will be required to enter a note any time a quote status is changed to Approved, Denied, Open, or Closed.



Auto-Close

Quotes that remain in "Open" status for longer than the number of days you set will be automatically changed to "Closed." The day count is always based on the date the quote was created and never resets - regardless of status changes or resending the quote to the customer.

Notify Office When Customer Approves or Denies a Quote

When turned on, an email notification will be sent to the email address(es) you specify when a customer approves a quote.


Default Notes

Notes entered here will be automatically added to every new quote in the "quote notes" field. Default notes can be edited or removed on any individual quote at any time.


Quote Templates

Quote templates allow you to pre-fill a quote with commonly used line items, notes, and discounts.
