You can delete or archive a customer in Pool Brain. The system will allow you to perform either action based on if job history already exists or not. Deleting a customer is permanent but archiving a customer can be reversed.

How to Delete or Archive a Customer

  • Navigate to the customer's page and hover over the customer name at the very top until you see a trash can icon appear

  • Click the trash can icon to delete or archive the customer

Pool Company Software - Delete or Archive a Customer - Pool Brain

  • If a customer does NOT have any existing jobs, invoices or payments, then the customer can be deleted

  • If a customer DOES have existing jobs, invoices or payments, then the customer will be archived instead of deleted when you click the trash can icon
(this will hide it from all lists and reports as if it were deleted but the process is reversible)

How to Reactivate an Archived Customer

  • Navigate to the Customers section by clicking "Customers" from the left side menu

  • Check the "Show archived customers" box

Pool Company Software - Reactivate an archived customer - Pool Brain

  • Click on the customer name you want to reactivate from the list that appears below after checking the box

  • Hover over the customer name at the top of the page until you see blue text that says "Make Active"

  • Click "Make Active" to reactivate the customer
