Open API (build your own integrations)

We are proud to announce we have launched an extensive Open API that allows any company to query their data and create their own integrations if they choose. This makes Pool Brain one of the only pool company software platforms to offer this enterprise level feature and we're still just getting started.

More Chemical Improvements In App

  • Salt system indicators now display on Chemical Readings and Add Chemicals screens in technician app

  • Salt will only auto-dose on bodies of water with working salt systems

  • On Orenda Dosing calculator screen, values change colors as you scroll automatically to match Orenda's color schemes


Attach Photos & PDFs to Products/Services

  • Click the attach icon to upload photos or PDF documents to any product or service

    Photos, manuals, warranty info, disclaimer documentation, etc

  • Photos and PDFs are automatically displayed underneath the line item when the product/service is added to a quote

Improvements to Quotes

  • Create Quote Templates

    Create consistently accurate quotes with a single click

  • Add Office Notes and Tech Notes that transfer to the auto-created job on quote approval

  • Customers can send questions directly from the quote

    Question will be emailed to you. Reply to the email to communicate with customer and quickly access the quote link for reference.

  • Export a company level Quotes Report

  • Quote notes field vertical height increased

  • Line item description field height increases automatically to display all text as you type


Choose Fields To Overwrite When Using Job Templates

  • You can now select which fields to overwrite when you apply a template on a job

  • Fields are not selected by default. You can select just one or two fields or select "ALL" to overwrite all data.
    For example, you could just select "checklist item workflow" to update the workflow from the template but not overwrite notes, products/services, etc.

New DNS Records For Improved Email Delivery

  • SPF, DMARC and SMTP DNS record options have been added in settings
    Email providers are continually changing their spam rejection settings and adding these records will give you the best chance of avoiding spam filters or bounced emails.

  • The new records are now shown in a link underneath the "Send From" email field in settings
    You may need someone with technical knowledge to change these records in the DNS settings for the domain you own.

Other Improvements

  • A "retry sync" button has been added to the QBO sync indicator pop over window
    Clicking the button immediately reattempts the sync for that item

  • The character limit for technicians to add job notes in app has been increased to 3k characters
